SCUSI NON CAPISCO. VOICES SOUNDS AND REFLECTIONS FROM THE CONTEMPORARY ARTS
Turin, Fondazione Merz
8 April 2017 at 9 pm
A meeting between Achille Bonito Oliva and Andrea Zalone
Event planned by Maria Centonze and Willy Merz
Achille Bonito Oliva and Andrea Zalone, the guests of this new round of review Scusi, non capisco (Sorry, I don’t understand), which is now in its third year, will converse about the works of the finalists of the second edition of Mario Merz Prize, inviting the public to enter into their worlds, in an effort to trigger a deep reflection on the contemporary art scene within the picturesque setting of the Fondazione.
Achille Bonito Oliva: art historian, critic, curator, discoverer of remarkable talents thanks to his great intuition, a scholar from whom art cannot hide anything, storyteller and revealer of mechanisms of the spirit that lead to the creation of a work of art.
Andrea Zalone: a well-known figure in theatre and television, captivating and contagious, master of an ironic and biting language that moulds the mood of an increasingly demanding public. Direct and almost institutional with scripted questions, he defines the outline of a performance through his pungent and highly entertaining writing.
The star of the musical space will be the clarinettist Davide Bandieri.
