Building Futures is a project that unites the spirit of Fondazione Merz and MAO Torino, two institutions that both work on collections, projecting them from historical memory into the contemporary. Together with Assistant Curator @giuliaturconi__ and Curatorial and Editorial Coordinator Anna Musini we will analyze how the two institutions are trying to build new connections between ancient and present, making the work of contemporary artists increasingly participatory and radical.

The event is part of the public program of Panorama Monferrato. After Procida, Monopoli and L’Aquila ITALICS will bring to the Monferrato area of Piedmont the fourth edition of Panorama, the region-wide exhibition that since 2021, on an annual basis, has been connecting architecture, art and landscape with the territory and its communities.
