On the occasion of the centenary of Mario Merz’s birth, the Fondazione Merz presents Libertà di avere tre idee contrastanti, a symposium dedicated to the artist, conceived as a collective narrative on Mario Merz and his thought, constantly evolving and open to a plurality of visions.

Over the two days of Tuesday, January 14, and Wednesday, January 15, 2025, scholars, critics, art historians, and artists, drawing from their own specific experiences, will offer testimonies, insights, and reflections that enhance the understanding of his work and legacy.

The program for the event will be published shortly.
